We Hunt Scores, Not Your Data

Witch Hunt sends you on a broomstick chase for magical ingredients. We do not hunt your data. We do not track your sessions. We do not cast spells that follow you around the internet. Your high score is brewed in localStorage under wthh_best. It is your potion — stored on your device, invisible to us, and cleared only when you decide the cauldron needs emptying.

Server Logs and External Requests

Loading Witch Hunt triggers one HTTP request to our server. The server logs your IP address, browser string, timestamp, and URL path — standard web-server behaviour that cannot be disabled without disabling the server. These logs are kept for 30 days for security purposes and then deleted. MedievalSharp is loaded from Google Fonts, one CDN request per page load. No analytics tool, advertising script, session recorder, or fingerprinting code runs in Witch Hunt. We have verified this. If you open your browser's network inspector, you will count exactly two outbound requests at load: the game page and the font.

Children, Rights, and Policy Updates

The broomstick carries all ages. Witch Hunt is appropriate for children. We collect no personal data from any player. No parental action is required. Any future data addition will be described here, with a specific effective date, before it is enabled.

Your Data Rights

Players in jurisdictions with formal privacy rights — including GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and similar legislation — may request information about data we hold. Because we retain only brief, anonymised server-access logs, such requests will ordinarily confirm that we hold no personal data linked to any individual. We respond within legally required timeframes. To submit a request, use the official Witch Hunt website or repository contact channel.

No Sale, No Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any data with third parties for commercial purposes. If we were ever legally compelled to disclose server-log data — for example, by a valid court order — we would comply with applicable law. We would not do so voluntarily for commercial reasons, because we have no commercial relationship with any data buyer or broker.
